“But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.”-1 John 2:11

My favorite colors are purple, pink, green and blue. I may wear these colors in the form clothing, my favorite eyeshadow, or a new purse. These colors might be displayed in the blankets, rugs and pillows throughout my home. When I see those colors, it brings me joy and makes a memory crystal clear for me. I cannot imagine my life without color. Color is beautiful in every shade and form. The uniqueness of each color makes our world a better place.

God is very intentional in everything he does to show us he is the master and creator of the universe. He gave us the seasons of winter, spring, fall and summer. The blue skies, green grass, flowers of endless colors and much more were done by God. Color is an especially important detail. When God created each of us, he chose a skin color on purpose. One color is not superior to another. All of us, no matter our skin color, is precious and beautiful in the sight of God. God is not color blind. He not only sees color but he created color. Psalms 8:5 says, “You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.”

You are beautiful. Your skin color does not make your superior or inferior to anyone. God made every one of us with intention. Each of us is God’s standard for beauty and greatness. Allow God to remind you for a moment of your greatness. Take a moment to enjoy who God made you to be. Starring today, cherish who God made you to be on purpose every day of your life. May God bless you today and always great woman or man of God.

  1. If the world could see each other the way our Heavenly Father sees us we would be much better people. Sadly, that is not so with our world. It reminds me of Saul when he was on the road to Damascus, he became blind for a reason.

Then when his heart open for the first time, the scales fell from his eyes. That is what our world needs, they need a real encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ.
