Mother’s Day 2020 will be celebrated on Sunday May 10, 2020. This year is a little different due to COVID-19. We will celebrate every woman who answers to mom and grandma. We thank you for giving life to all of us while nurturing and loving us. Mother’s Day 2020 will be different but we salute you everyday for your unconditional love and support of your children. I want to also take a moment to shoutout other women who nurture children. Our society needs you also to shape the lives of our children and adults.

I also acknowledge the Mother’s Day is a very difficult day for many. Some have lost their mother due to death, estrangement or abandonment. It could be a mother or grandmother who recently lost a child or spouse. It could be a woman who does not have children of her own and desires to be a mother. I want you to know that you are loved. We understand if you cannot celebrate Mother’s Day.  It is okay for you to grieve. It is okay for you to cry.

Are you looking for some socially distant ways to celebrate your favorite mother? Do you need some last minute gift ideas? I have some suggestions below. If you have some ideas, do not hesitate to add them to the comments. Let’s keep the conversation going on Twitter and Instagram. Happy Mother’s Day!

Carryout or Delivery: You can still have a great meal by taking advantage of delivery or carryout. You can go directly to your favorite restaurant’s website or use one of the following delivery services: Doordash, Grabhub and UberEats. Also, you can do curbside pickup or carryout. Please check the business hours for your favorite restaurant.

Gift Cards: You can give you favorite mom a gift card for now or later. The best gift cards are Amazon, Target, Walmart, Grubhub, Uber Eats and Doordash. You can also buy gift cards for the mall, movies, salon, spa, makeup, shoes and more.

Sports Swag: Is your favorite mom a sports fans? The best site is for anything related to sports is Fantatics in my opinion. This site covers just about every sport. As an avid sports fan, I approve of the selction. The prices are excellent and you do not have to wait forever to get your purrchase.. If you are unsure of to get, get a giftcard.

Donation: You can make a donation in honor or memory of your mom. What a great way to celebrate your favorite woman while paying it forward. You can pick any nonprofit of your choice. Your donation will ensure that someone else’s day is brightened and you are making your favorite nonprofit stronger. Thank you for your donation.
