Prove Doubting Critics Wrong By Winning

As you well know, I am a lifelong Baltimore Ravens fan. Last night, the Baltimore Ravens handed the New England Patriots their first loss of the season. Ahead of the game and earlier this season, many pundits discussed how there was no was no way that the Ravens would win the game.  They detailed how a Ravens win against the Patriots was impossible. One thing we have learned to do in Baltimore is not to pay any attention to doubting critics. The critics were very quiet after the game. I don’t have to list them because their opinion is not relevant. The Ravens won so there is no reason to discuss a losing scenario because it never happened.

We need to apply this principle to our lives. We need to decide to win despite our doubting critics.  When someone becomes opposed to you and your destiny, you do not have to listen to them or explain yourself or destiny to them. Just decide to keep moving forward and winning. We must remember that no one will ever have a 100% approval rating and we must be okay with that. Sometimes, your biggest critics will become your biggest fans. I have decided I am going to make one step at a time and continue to keep my eyes looking forward. If I allow myself to be distracted or tripped up by wagging tongues or my past, I am going to stay stuck and never more forward. Here is to us winning despite what the doubting critics around us say.
