God Never Discounts His Best For Us!

For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.“-Hebrews 8:12

Have you ever felt like your life was in crisis mode? It was like one thing after another just went wrong? What about feeling a sense that God could not redeem your past mistakes? You feel like you have done too much wrong to be used by God. Have you purposely tried to sabotage your calling or purpose? You knew your purpose and calling and decided to try to destroy your testimony? Whatever category or categories you fall into (I claim all three), I want to let you know God loves you and me. Jesus died for us to have the abundant life.  God does not discount or clearance our blessings, calling and purpose because of our past, present or future. He does not hold anything against us.

In today’s scripture, we are reminded that God does not remember our sins anymore.  When we repent, and ask for forgiveness, we must trust he has forgiven us. Since this is the case, he does not reduce our effectiveness or anointing because of us our past. In fact, our lives are enhanced by our relationship with God. God’s attributes are available to us. We must remember as his children, he placed his attributes inside of us. We cannot take his place but we can walk in his attributes. Psalm 147: 4-5 says, “He determines the number of the stars; he gives to all of them their names. Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.”

God has put all of us here for a reason. We are not here by accident. He has called us to do special and unique things on his behalf.  Mistakes, circumstances, sin and more do not determine of what God has entrusted to us to accomplish for his glorification. Whatever he has called us to do, he has equipped us to do.  We must depend on God to accomplish his purpose entrusted to us.  Isaiah 55:11 says, “so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”  God is faithful and so is his word. You should never accept a discounted or cheap version of what God wants to do with you. He loves us too much to give us the leftovers of life.

May God illuminate your soul and remind you of his love and favor for you. May God continue to encourage you as you step forward into your calling. May he heal anything that is broken in your life or body. May he restore what the enemy tried to take from you. May he continue to set you free from your past. You are a redeemed child of God. Have an awesome day!  “The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” Jeremiah 31:3
