Comfort Will Delay and Stop Your Progress

I am just returning from my birthday vacation. I have missed writing but needed to rest. I hope you are making yourself a priority and will rest this summer also. Comfort is a natural desire of every human being.

There is nothing wrong for desiring comfort. The problem is comfort maybe the very thing that is delaying or stopping our progress. We are still amid our 2019 goal quest. This is a good time to ask ourselves, have we become too comfortable?

I am not saying that your life should have no comfort. I am saying that we should never be so comfortable that you procrastinate or stop moving toward our goals. Are you still moving with the same driven passion that you had in January?

Maybe you got to 5% of your goal and have decided to coast until 2020. Let us make a decision to keep going and move beyond your comfort zone.  We should never become so complacent with our goals or even our lives that we stay comfortable. I am guilty of this.

God places a dream in my heart and the people around are speaking against me and my dream. There is nothing wrong with loving accountability. I am talking about speaking against me because these people are more worried about their comfort and not me fulfilling my God given dreams.

This is a time to take a moment to examine our hearts. Look at your vision board. If you do not have one, it is not too late to make one. Have you become too comfortable? Do you need to adjust on your 2019 goals? Do you need to come up a little higher?

Do you need to review who is speaking into your life? It is never too late to make changes. It will change and enhance your life. 2019 is not over. We must keep moving and stay the course of our race.

Each of us have a individual and unique race. There is no reason to look at your neighbor and envy their race. Keep your eyes focused on your race. We are going to finish 2019 in a great manner.
