Can you believe it is August? I am trying my best to savor each day and I hope you are too. I looked at my vision board last week. When I created it in January, I was nervous to be so bold and full of faith. Then little by little things in my life changed and I started to see that I needed to raise my expectations and goals to a new level. I know the temptation may come up to put off your 2019 goals until 2020. The temptation may also come up to slack off and restart in 2020. May I encourage you and myself to continue to go forward. The discipline and hard work that we are doing now will speak volumes in the future. Why keep hitting the reset button when you can keep reaching new levels in your life?
I am living a quality of life that I cannot describe. I have so much joy and hope in my life. I am doing things I have never done or had stopped doing decades ago. I had a few setbacks and disappointments which were necessary to get me on a path of progress and success. The ups, downs and in between moments are needed in our lives to get us on the path that we were destined to be on. I wanted to remind you of the importance of pruning. Sometimes, certain people, places and things are hindering us for being all that we have been called to be.
What about you? How has your 2019 been? Are you seeing your vision board daily? On your hardest days, you should look at your vision board. You vision board is a reminder of where you are going. You can make changes to your board anytime. The board and vision belong to you. Accountability is important. Sometimes, we do not see our potential. We need the people around us who know us best and will cheer us on to what is next. We also need to make sure we are sharing our vision with people who love us and want to see us succeed. We need to use wisdom. Remember, everyone is not entitled to you. Here is to going forward without any regrets or fear. We are still standing.
