14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”-Exodus 14:14
Today, we are going to pause and do a heart check. What are you fighting today? Could it be an illness, a storm in your marriage or relationship, conflict in a friendship, an issue at work, crazy finances, the loss of a loved one or something else not listed? Allow God to fight for you. God is undefeated. Ephesians 6:10 says, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” We must get our strength from God. There is no person, place or thing that can prosper against us. This time we are going to say this statement out loud together: There is no person, place or thing that can prosper against me.
I do not care how saved, sanctified and full of the Holy Spirit we are there will be moments in our lives when we are not enough. We must call on God and give everything to him. It starts with us coming to Jesus and resting in him. So, now, let us take inventory of our hearts with the help of the Holy Spirit. Who or what are we fighting? Are we taking things into our own hands and asking God to bless it? Are we taking God’s place in our life? Starting right now, we reject the name of our circumstances as our identity. Isaiah 41:10 says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.“
We thank you today for a new day. Thank you for creating us. We depend on your for so much including our next breath and heartbeat. God, we know there is a special reason why you have us on earth. God, we thank you in advance for the great things we will do on your behalf and that will bring you glory. In the name of Jesus, please forgive us of our sins. God, I pray right now that we would repent and turn away from anything or any person that is not of you. Line up every aspect of our lives with your Word. God, we turn over every person, place or thing we are fighting. We know that no matter how bad or devastating that is appears that you will fight for us. God do only what you can do for us right now in the name of Jesus. We love you and thank you for what we cannot see or comprehend that you doing and will do on our behalf.
In the matchless and precious name of Jesus,
