I started blogging in 2010. I have been writing and editing since I was a child. When I visited restaurants or other places of business, I would send feedback to management. This was done so leadership would know what was going right and who can improve. Then a few people in my life told me I should blog about my experiences. I started to blog about restaurants, food, fashion and nonprofits. Then I joined WordPress because I wanted to freedom to write what I wanted on my terms on my timetable. I have been with WordPress since 2015 and have enjoyed every minute of it.
I am going to blog every now and then about my food adventures. This is not an endorsement of the company or a product but just my opinion. I hope that you will enjoy my adventures. I am looking forward to writing about food once again. Today’s blog focuses on Bar Louie. I visited Bar Louie with one of my favorite sidekicks. We decided to go to Bar Louie to try the Beyond Meat burger. This burger is a new plant based burger that tastes awesome. This is what we have heard from so many people. We were excited about finally trying this burger. Then our server told us they were sold out. We could not believe it. I started to call area eating establishments to see if any of them had it so we could leave.
Bar Louie was sold out as were a lot of area eating establishments. I have seen them at my local grocery stores because those Beyond Meat burgers come from a different factory than the ones for Bar Louie and other eating establishments. We were going to leave but our server was so nice so we ended up ordering an appetizer, trio dips & chips (minus the queso and salsa). It was so good that I forgot to take a picture. Bar Louie has a very diverse menu. If you have food allergies, just talk to your server who can help you find something you can enjoy without becoming sick.
Next for our meal, we each ended up getting the blackened salmon sliders with fries. They were so good. The picture is not deceptive. The portions were great and everything was delicious. The salmon was not under or over cooked. It also comes with bacon which was a bonus. I would highly recommend this as a meal for one or you can share it as a group before your meal. The whole experience was excellent. I have been a frequent patron of Bar Louie and will be back again. Our server was excellent as was the entire experience.
Bar Louie has specials during the week. They have weekend brunch until 3:00 PM. Tuesday is burger night features all signature burgers at $5.00 paired with fries or tots. Happy Hour is weekdays 4:00-7:00 pm and Sundays-Thursday has reverse happy hour which is from 10:00 pm-until close. Specials may differ by location. You can learn more about your local Bar Louie by clicking here to view their website. You can also follow them on social media by clicking here for Facebook, here for Instagram and here for Twitter. Warning, you will be extremely hungry scrolling through their feed.
Have a great time. I hope you will visit Bar Louie this summer. I am looking forward to discussing my future foodie adventures. Until next time, have a great weekend.
