“4 For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”-Deuteronomy 20:4
Sometimes all we can see is what is in front of us but we need to remember God is outside of time. He can see beyond what is in front of us. Sometimes, every phone call, email, text message, social media message, piece of mail and more is bad news. Then to make matters worse, the people who are supposed to have your back are making things worse by gossiping about you or speak against you. Allow me to remind you that all of these things point to the fact that your next victory is about to occur. Isaiah 55:8-9 says, “8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,”declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”.
God does not need to consult anyone to bless you. Anyone includes you because sometimes we may cause the worst opposition to our next blessing. Jesus died on our behalf so that we could walk in victory. God is in the business of abundance, healing, increase, restoration and so much more. Yes, there will be times and seasons of persecution and suffering but that is not a lifestyle. God does not expect us to be in a posture of persecution and suffering forever. We need to get off the throne and allow God to reign in every aspect of our lives. Yes, I said every aspect of your life. He is Savior and Lord. We sometimes fight battles that we are not supposed to be fighting. 2 Chronicles 20:15 says, “….Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.”.
So I would like to encourage you to stay strong. Keep on praying. Keep on believing. Line yourself up with the promises of God. Listen to sermons and music that will keep you encouraged. Stay in the Word of God. You have to read and meditate on the Word of God. You do not have to replicate what someone else is doing. We are all unique individuals and we have the same access to God. I am looking forward to seeing you on the other side of your victory. You may have started this year and even this day on the losing side but always remember you plus God is always a winning majority. Ephesians 6:10 says, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.”. God bless you!
