“17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”-Colossians 3:17

I am in a place where I can say, “Thank You, God.” It is not because everything in my life is perfect but I am learning no matter what, I have to say “Thank you, God”. Sometimes, we do not realize how blessed we are until we meet someone who is going through unthinkable circumstances. I want to encourage you to look beyond yourself and show love to God and everyone around you. You should love God, others and yourself but look beyond yourself and the people who show you love. Your compliment, smile or hug may save someone’s life.

Right now, some people maybe estranged from family members. Some people maybe mourning the death of a loved one. Some people maybe too ill to leave their homes. Some people maybe dealing with the loss of their home, relationship or job. Some people maybe homeless or hungry. My encouragement to you is to find a way to say thank you to God. Do not worry, the Holy Spirit can help you look beyond your circumstances and sit before God in prayer.

Some things I love about  God is that he is always available to us and he can take us when we are angry, sad, heartbroken, confused, devastated and more. His arms are always open to love on us even when we do not feel loved by anyone else. Right now, I want you to remember a time when you had your back up against the wall and God came through beyond your expectations.

I am so honored to be writing on this blog. I remember there was a time I was so heartbroken and disappointed that I stopped writing. God has healed and restored me to a point I can write even when I sad or disappointed. Thank you for reading. May God bestow his presence on you in a special and unique way this holiday season and beyond. You are loved by God. I am extremely thankful for you. Do not give up right before your miracle.  God bless you!
