Thanksgiving is this Thursday and are you feeling overwhelmed? Well the good news is there is still time to make Thanksgiving memorable and stress-free. Check out the tips below and it is going to be okay. Happy Thanksgiving!Embed from Getty Images
Pamper Yourself: Take a moment to do something nice for yourself. Here are some suggestions: take a nap, do a workout, catch up on your Netflix or DVR, eat your favorite dessert, get a mani-pedi and the list is endless. It is okay to make some down time for yourself.
Grocery Delivery or Pickup: You can have your groceries delivered or arrange to pick them up. Many grocery stores do this and it is really convenient. You take the time to research the whole store and use coupons to save. Also, this will open up time for you to pamper yourself. Click here for a meal that is under $50.00.
Thanksgiving Carryout: It is perfectly fine to order your entire meal or certain aspects of your meal. You may not have time to peel potatoes, roast a turkey and bake five pies from scratch. Click here to see restaurants that can do carryout.Embed from Getty Images
Thanksgiving Reservation: There are plenty of restaurants that are hosing Thanksgiving meals. A reservation is needed and checkout the selected menu. Click here to see restaurants and make a reservation.
Online Recipes: I love recipes. You can do research online and watch demonstrations on your favorite recipes. This will save you time and ensure you have an idea of how long it will take to make the dish. My favorite sites are (in no particular order): Allrecipes, Food Network, Epicurious and Southern Living.
Team Cooking: Why cook alone when you can cook in a group? This will save you time and also ensure that you have fun. So you can do this before or after the holidays.
Potluck: Why cook an entire meal alone when you can make your meal potluck style? Potlucks are fun because one person will not be too exhausted to enjoy the day and meal. If cooking is not your talent, you can do carryout or bring beverages.
Have fun!: Make sure that no matter what you enjoy the day and have fun. I know that sometimes the holidays can be overwhelming. Have a great time and Happy Thanksgiving!Embed from Getty Images
