Autumn is Here!

Fall or autumn is here. I already miss the longer and warmer summer days but fall is fun. First of all, we can enjoy all our favorite fall foods and beverages like my personal favorite Panera Bread’s Vegetarian Autumn Squash Soup . Yes I am team pumpkin everything. All major sports will be starting or are well underway. So NBA and NHL fans, rejoice because your regular seasons are starting soon. Nature is so beautiful with the changing and falling of leaves, the smells of fall like apple, cinnamon and yes of course pumpkin. This is a time to test new baking recipes to prepare for the holidays . I made homemade brownies and pound cake recently.  To my fellow bakers, Am I the only who has trouble baking in the spring and summer versus the fall and winter?

This is a time to recognize that the year is coming to a close. So analyze your goals and make a decision to revamp them while starting to look to the next year. I appreciate progress but I have learned to appreciate the journey. Sometimes we can be so focused on the destination, we forget to enjoy the journey. Also, this is time to be honest about how you are using your talent, time and treasure. You may need to invest more or may need to reduce or stop doing something that is no longer fruitful. This includes friendships and relationships. Do not be afraid to draw boundaries. I am looking forward to embarking on fall with you. Thank you for being apart of my best summer ever. We are going to be fine and here is to a fun and productive fall. Happy Autumn or Fall!
